1. Global Refund Policy
Unless required by applicable law, all purchases are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
Paddle may issue a refund on a discretionary basis (see section 7) or where you exercise an applicable statutory withdrawal or refund right (see section 2).
Refunds will not be issued where there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behavior.
This does not affect any rights you have where a product is not as described, faulty, or not fit for purpose (see section 4).
Refund requests must be made within the applicable statutory or discretionary period described below. If a refund is issued, access to the relevant product will cease.
2. Country-Specific Withdrawal Rights
Where local consumer protection laws grant an unconditional withdrawal right, that right applies and overrides this Policy. The current rights, as set out in Paddle's Refund Policy, are:
- EU / EEA / Switzerland / UK: a 14-day statutory right to withdraw from digital content and service contracts. This applies to the first payment of a subscription (and again after any free trial ends). If you purchased in the UK on an annual subscription, you get a new 14-day withdrawal window each time the subscription auto-renews for another year. The right doesn't apply once you've started downloading, streaming, or using the product and expressly agreed to waive it.
- Turkey / Israel: a 14-day statutory right to withdraw.
- South Korea / Brazil / China: a 7-day unconditional right to cancel after delivery.
- Canada: a 7-day unconditional right to cancel after delivery.
- Singapore: a 5-day unconditional right to cancel after delivery or first access.
To exercise any of these rights, request a refund within the relevant period, counted from your transaction date (see section 3).
3. How to Request a Refund
Because Paddle processes all payments and refunds, refund requests are submitted directly to Paddle rather than to dynamo.email:
- use the "View receipt" or "Manage subscription" link in your Paddle transaction confirmation email;
- submit a request via the support link in your receipt or account billing page; or
- visit paddle.net and select "Request a refund".
If eligible, refunds are processed to your original payment method, typically within 14 days of approval. Paddle's transaction records are used to verify eligibility and timing, but will not override your statutory rights.
You're also welcome to contact us at [email protected] if you're unsure about your purchase or need help, and we'll assist or direct you to Paddle as needed.
4. Technical or Product Defects
If you experience persistent technical issues or a material defect that prevents you from accessing a product's features or benefits as described:
- contact us first at [email protected] so we can try to resolve the issue;
- if the issue can't be resolved, contact Paddle's support team (see section 3) with details of the issue and our response.
Where there is evidence of a material technical or product defect, Paddle will issue a refund in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
5. Renewals and Add-Ons
Paid plans are billed on an annual basis per product. Renewals follow the same rules as initial purchases: refund eligibility depends on any applicable statutory right (section 2) and on Paddle's discretionary refund process (section 7).
Any add-ons linked to a main subscription expire when that subscription ends, unless stated otherwise, and follow the same refund criteria as the main purchase.
Renewal reminders and billing visibility are provided in advance so you can cancel before the next billing cycle if you don't wish to renew.
6. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
We encourage you to contact us or Paddle before raising a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer — this is usually faster than the chargeback process.
If you initiate a chargeback, access to the relevant product may be temporarily suspended while the matter is reviewed. This does not affect your lawful rights to dispute a charge under card-scheme or consumer-protection rules.
7. Discretionary Refunds
Outside of any statutory right, Paddle may, at its sole discretion, issue a refund if a request is submitted within 14 days of your transaction date. Submitting a request within this period does not guarantee a refund.
Requests are reviewed case-by-case, considering factors such as the nature of the product, the reason for the request, and usage. Paddle may approve a refund in full, approve a partial refund, or decline the request. A discretionary refund does not create an obligation to issue refunds for similar requests in the future.
