Motion is Dynamo's flagship email tool. Upload a static image, choose from 9 animation effects, and get a hosted URL you drop into any ESP in about 10 seconds. Every effect renders as an email-optimized animated GIF — no code, no design tools, no dev team needed.
GIF only, by design. Motion is built for email, and animated GIF is the one format that renders reliably in every inbox — including Outlook — with no plugin, no special client support, and no broken fallback. What you see in the Live Preview is exactly the file you'll get.
This upcoming effect is different from the Rotation effect available today (a spin-and-zoom animation you apply to a single photo). For 360° AI Rotation, you'll upload a single product photo and Motion's AI model will generate additional angular views, stitching them into a smooth, hover-to-rotate sequence — with a GIF fallback for clients that don't support interactivity. You'll also be able to upload multiple photos for even better results.
Motion accepts JPG, PNG, WebP, and SVG files up to 20 MB. For best results, use images at least 800×800px with a clean background. Transparent PNGs and SVGs work great for the shimmer and pulse effects where the overlay blends with the email background color.
